The story of EasterThe Easter story is the reason that Christians have hope. This is the story of the resurrection of Jesus. The fact that he was raised from the grave is supported by four different gospels. It is first found in Mathew 28. Then you will find it again in Mark 16. The third place it is written about is found at Luke 24. The last place it is found is John 20. If you keep reading into chapter 21 of John you will find another story that is not found in the other gospels. You can read that story here. John 21. All of these stories tell about the tomb being found empty. They all seem to be very similar in content. They talk about encounters with Jesus after his death. This is the reason that we celebrate Easter. Share these stories with your children this year. Make sure that they understand the real reason behind the holiday is not all about the bunny with the eggs. God bless you.
