The DaVinci Code

The DaVinci Code movie has caused a lot of discussions inside and outside the Christian church today. I am not sure why so many Christians have a problem with the DaVinci Code movie. The only reason I have come up with is that they must not spend enough time reading their Bible. I have been through my Bible more than a few times and I don't recall ever hearing that Jesus had a wife or children. What I do know from my time reading is that there will be many things pulling on the Christian religion to try to deceive the people. Have you ever counted all the things a person could believe in. Things like, wicca, science, astrology, and all the new people that claim to be prophets. They all have two things in common. They attack the Christian religion and they do not attack each other. Why would that be? The Bible Has the answer for you. Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. This is one of many verses from the Bible that tells us that this will happen. A Christian should understand that they will run into all types of opposition. This movie, and the book it is based on, is just one more thing that has to happen for all things described in my Bible to be for filled. I have not had the need to read the book or see the movie. The reason for this is because before they were made public, I had already read my Bible. When that book came out and people were talking about it, I already knew that this was one of the things that must happen. The truth is Gods word and you can find it in the Bible.
