The book of HebrewsThe book of Hebrews makes some really good points. Below is a list of the points I think needed to be touched upon. 1.In these last days he has spoken to us by his Son (Jesus speaks to us today through the Holy spirit) 2.Jesus shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil ( he gave us proof that there is life after death by defeating it) 3.See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. Read this warning against unbelief. But encourage one another daily (we must bring others to follow Christ) 4.Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. (judgment will come to every one) 5.we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin ( the perfect lamb) 6.Jesus was declared a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek (this was because the law from Moses made nothing perfect, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant by the order of his priesthood) 7.The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah (because they did not remain faithful to my first covenant, He saves us with the new) 8.Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance 9.Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 10.Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons (this is why you should consider it pure joy) 11.Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have (God knows your needs and will take care of you) I encourage you to read the whole book of Hebrews.
