It ends with David naming his son Solomon King of Israel. There are a few short statements about the men that greatly increased in numbers and wealth. These men claimed victories in the name of God. The whole purpose of this book was to explain the history of the twelve tripes of Israel. It also shows that God has been with great men throughout history. Along the way there are some interesting facts that have been documented. They show how God blesses people that follow his commandments. The names can be hard to pronounce. That makes it difficult to read. If you are into tracing history this is a good book to start with. At the end you will have a very large family tree.
